Northwest Baptist

Since April 2012, Dr. Hutson has served as Associate Pastor of Northwest Baptist Church in Houston, Texas. His role there as Associate is non-typical. He has no specific responsibilities, yet he assumes many responsibilities. His position is more an advisory role; He preaches there approximately once a month, leads in establishing good policies and procedures, writes the Sunday bulletin and assists Pastor Tim Dulany in a variety of ways.

Northwest Baptist Church views Dr. Hutson as an extension and representative of the church. Northwest is his sponsoring church. As a firm proponent of local church theology Dr. Hutson conducts his ministry as a part of his home church. He serves as a national field representative for the Christian Law Association, speaks often in churches in private engagements and is engaged in an on-going ministry of written materials. Many of his books are available in electronic format from Amazon and Barnes and Noble. See our Products page on this website. Most of his books are also available in paper format. They can be ordered directly from him

It is the heart of both Dr. Hutson and Northwest Baptist Church that fundamental, first-century positions on Bible issue be preserved. They do not believe the teachings of the Bible are evolutionary. In modern Christendom there is increasing drift away from Bible positions and standards. It is increasingly difficult to find written materials that take first-century Christian positions on key issues. The desire of Northwest Baptist Church is to as much as possible free Dr. Hutson to write and leave an enduring legacy of helps on core doctrinal issues.

This church has made it possible for Dr. Hutson to (1) assist the church in improving its own ministry, (2) give himself to a serious ministry of written materials and (3) as needed to preach and teach among sister churches as a guest speaker for revivals, seminars, conferences and special services.
